Welcome! My name is Kristin Doran and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I hold a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University. I am also a masters level CASAC and have previously supported individuals living with dual diagnosis as well as substance use difficulties. I have experience treating anxiety, depression, maladaptive coping skills, and stress management, in addition to life transitions and relationship issues.
I utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower individuals to facilitate intrinsic change. I implement CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), SBT (Strengths Based Therapy), and Person-Centered techniques while cultivating a safe space for the therapeutic process. I offer a warm, non-judgmental and personalized journey of healing.
