A woman with long, dark hair is smiling at the camera. She is wearing a white shirt with a black and white checkered vest, exuding confidence like one of those trusted providers. The background is plain and light-colored.

About Maura Dillon

I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Stony Brook University. My goal as a therapist is to create a safe and welcoming space where you can feel comfortable exploring your feelings and experiences. I understand that seeking therapy can be a vulnerable and intimidating experience, which is why I strive to be empathetic and nonjudgmental in my approach.

I have worked with both adolescents and adults on a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, codependency, and self-esteem. I have found that Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Strength Based Therapy are particularly effective in helping my clients overcome these challenges and
achieve their goals.

If you’re struggling with any of these issues, or if you simply want to work on becoming your best self, I would be happy to work with you. Together, we can explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and find ways to help you lead a happier and more fulfilling life.
